My name is Jessica, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Yoga Teacher, and trauma specialist in San Diego. My practice works to move beyond traditional talk therapy and move toward an integrative model that brings the body into psychotherapy. This approach promotes holistic health and encourages a balanced and engaged lifestyle.
To date, I’ve had the opportunity to work with adults of all ages in non-profit settings, community organizations, and the medical field; treating a variety of mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. These experiences have helped me to be a focused, curious, and empathic clinician. My style balances deep, creative exploration in a safe and nurturing space with the healing power of lightness, humor, and compassion.
I earned my master's degree in social work from the University of Michigan in 2012, where I received a Geriatric Scholarship and Specialist in Aging Certification. I completed my yoga teacher training with the wonderful Yoga One community in San Diego, and have trained with the LifeForce Yoga team to learn how to integrate these practices in a clinical setting. I'm a forever student of integrative health and trauma-based therapy. I'm grateful each day to learn from the wisdom of my clients, and to offer a space in which they are able to thrive in a supportive environment.
